From
November 1, registration is open for the
XXI World Congress of Economists, which will take place from
June 22 to 26, 2026 at the
Sava Center in Belgrade.
The
official Congress theme is:
“Contrasting World Visions: Globalism vs. Nationalism, Multilateralism vs. Bilateralism, and Democracy vs. Autocracy.”
The congress will host an
international audience of over 1,000 participants, including renowned economists, policymakers, business leaders, and several
Nobel Prize laureates in economics. The
Chair of the Programme Committee is Nobel laureate
Professor Eric Maskin, and participation has already been confirmed by three additional Nobel Prize winners —
Professors Jean Tirole, Esther Duflo, and Joseph Stiglitz — as well as by a large number of distinguished economists from the world’s most prestigious universities.
We invite you to be part of the world’s premier gathering of economists and contribute to the global dialogue on the future of economics!
