Petković Goran

Goran Petković is the member of the Presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists. He assumed that position in 2007. He started his career on the University of Belgrade, Economic faculty in 1987 as teaching assistant. From 2005 he acts as full-time professor on the same Faculty, teaching on bachelor, master and doctoral degree. Mr. Petković acts as the member of supervisory board of the Metalac A.D. From 2011 till now he serves in the Organizing committee of Kopaonik Business Forum, annual meeting organized by Serbian Association of Economists. Goran Petković is President of Alumni Club, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics.

Goran Petković received his PhD from University of Belgrade, Economic faculty. His areas of teaching and research are: Marketing channels; Retailing Management; Retailing Marketing; Tourism; Selling and Sales Management; Customer Relationship Management. Areas of consulting are very similar, and forms of consulting that he performs are mainly market research (primary and desk), education (lecturing, workshops and training), business analysis, plans and reports. Besides Economic faculty, he participated in lectures in La Sapienza, University of Rome, Wirtschaft University and DHBW Heilbron.

Goran Petković is from 1999 till now serves as the member of Editorial Board of Ekonomika preduzeća, journal of the Serbian Association of Economists. From 2016 he is Member of publishing council of Ekonomski anali, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics and from 2018 Member of Editorial Board, Poslovna izvrsnost Business Excellence, Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. Goran Petković is member of scientific committee of the Roman Emperors Route, certified by the Council of Europe.

In his career, Goran Petković served as the vice dean student and vice dean in charge for education on the Faculty of Economics. He also was member of the council board on the Economic Faculty, as well as on the level of University of Belgrade. He acted as the head of Business Economy and Management Department on the Economic Faculty. As a State secretary in charge for tourism, he served in the Government of Serbia for six years. During this mandate, Serbia became member of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization of the United Nations (UNWTO). In the same time, countries of the region established Danube Competence Center (DCC), non-profit organization for the development of tourism along the Danube.

His most recent books are: Kanali marketinga (Marketing Channels) with Lovreta S. and co-authors in 2019, Trgovinski menadžment (Trade Management), with Lovreta S. in 2018.
